Bob has always believed that taking care of the soil is the most important factor in farming.  This includes growing cover crops, keeping fields fallow for two or more years between crops, and using municipal leaves spread over the fields for organic matter.  Over the years, Bob’s leaf-mulching practice has resulted in soil that has a dark, rich color, and full of organic matter.
